Using SmartClass
You may use SmartClass only for lawful educational, administrative, communication, and operational purposes authorized by your school or organization.
If your organization has a separate written agreement with SmartClass, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these public terms.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activities performed through your account. Do not share passwords or attempt to access accounts, data, or tenants that you are not authorized to use.
Schools and organizations are responsible for assigning roles, permissions, and access levels for their tenant users.
Tenant content
Schools, organizations, and authorized users remain responsible for the content and records they upload, create, send, or manage in SmartClass.
You must have the necessary rights and permissions before uploading or sharing information through the platform.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with platform security, scrape or extract data without authorization, upload malicious code, send abusive or unlawful content, or use SmartClass in a way that harms other users or tenants.
SmartClass may limit, suspend, or remove access when needed to protect users, tenants, the platform, or legal obligations.
User content and safety
SmartClass has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse. Users must not create, upload, share, or send objectionable or unlawful material, threats, harassment, bullying, discriminatory content, sexual exploitation, or other abusive content through posts or messages.
Use the in-app report control to send a post or comment concern to SmartClass headquarters moderators. You can also block an author to hide their posts and comments from your feed. SmartClass or the school may review reports and take action, including removing content or restricting or disabling accounts, to protect users and meet legal obligations. Automated text filtering is limited and does not review attached media.
Availability and changes
We work to keep SmartClass reliable, but the service may change, pause, or be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, outages, third-party services, or circumstances outside our control.
We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page.
Intellectual property
SmartClass, its software, design, trademarks, and documentation belong to SmartClass or its licensors. These terms do not grant ownership rights in the platform.
Tenant data and school content remain subject to the rights and responsibilities of the relevant school, organization, and authorized users.
